A Sphuran Foundation / Trust is designed to sit above the holding company as the long-term vessel for mission lock and ethical stewardship — to be formed when trigger conditions are met. Until then, all institutional authority resides in the holding company and its Board.

Five divisions, one research system.

The five divisions are one part of a larger research system. Alongside them sit scientific direction, engineering execution, shared services, a translation layer that moves knowledge between divisions, and the office that governs how research becomes IP and ventures.

Research compounds through deployment.

01 · FRAMEWORK

Knowledge patterned to be reused.

Research outputs are lifted into frameworks — reusable patterns, interfaces, and reference architectures held by the institution and accessible across divisions, projects, and generations.

02 · VENTURE

A framework, tested in the real.

A framework seeds a venture inside SIH. Early commercial risk is absorbed; the approach is stress-tested against deployment constraints. Graduates when ready, up to a five-year ceiling.

03 · OPERATING COMPANY

Deployment at scale.

Ventures that clear the gate become operating companies — independent entities that manufacture, build, and operate. Scale is not the institution's function; deployment of validated systems is.

04 · FEEDBACK

Deployment returns upstream.

What is learned in the field flows back to R&D through the Translation Layer — reshaping frameworks, retiring assumptions, seeding the next generation of research. Without that feedback path, the rest doesn't compound.
