Sphuran works in three modes of partnership.
The three modes are research, deployment, and infrastructure. Each is governed by mission alignment first, commercial terms second. Two deployment partnerships are active today.
Three modes of partnership.
Research
Co-investigation with peer research institutions. IP and authorship are structured through the Venture and IP Office at the start of the engagement.
Deployment
Industry, civil society, or infrastructure partners who host or take to market technology developed at Sphuran. The partner supplies operational reach and field conditions; Sphuran supplies engineering and research capacity.
Infrastructure
Long-horizon partners providing testbeds, fabrication, or shared institutional capacity.
Two deployment partnerships, active.
-
Grevoro
DeploymentCarbon tracking for the steel industry, with adjacent work on sustainable manufacturing ventures.
-
BMEC Imaging
DeploymentEngineering across a portfolio of cancer therapy equipment.
How partnerships are filtered.
Mission alignment is checked first.
Partners whose models would require Sphuran to reduce its research independence, IP discipline, or ethical position are not pursued.
Every partnership has scope and a term.
Duration, deliverables, and outputs are defined at the start.
IP boundaries are set before work begins.
The Venture and IP Office structures background, foreground, and ownership terms before any joint work starts.
For partnership enquiries
Each engagement is reviewed against mission alignment before commercial terms are discussed.
